We, the following residents of the City of Bountiful (the “City”), hereby petition the City to allocate funds from the Trails Bond to paint bicycle lanes on Bountiful Boulevard.

There are hundreds of cyclists, joggers, and walkers who use the Boulevard every day. The absence of bicycle lanes has made it more dangerous and resulted in accidents and injuries.  Bicycle lanes will help make Bountiful Boulevard safer for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists by increasing awareness of the space dedicated for each use. Many Bountiful residents, like us, have been asking for bicycle lanes on Bountiful Boulevard for many years and we request that the City promptly paint bicycle lanes.
