I read an article in The Los Angeles Times about Keegan Strouse and his efforts to save the building. As a history writer, I believe it is important to preserve buildings such as the old Boulder City Hospital that tell the stories of times gone by.

I want the old hospital building to remain standing. Maybe turn it in to bed and breakfast or museum or both.

It's a historic place and it deserves to be left standing, also could re open its doors as a museum and generate tourism and use the profit to put back into boulder city to make it an even greater place.

Preserving history is important part of knowing who you are. I worked there as a candy-striper in 1973 before it closed. My mother and sisters still live in Boulder City and I visit often.
