Since the beginning of the Covid pandemic, Botswana introduced the State of Emergency as a way to curb the spread of the deadly virus and also to allocate powers to the President so he can effectively implement fast & robust strategies in fighting Covid without much redtape. Unfortunately funds have gone unaccounted for, promises of building hospitals, buying protective clothing, buying vaccines and building isolation centers are still to be fulfilled while the state coffers run dry. The economy is at its knees with soo many limitations which are done without any consultation not even scientific backing or any business experts advisory. We dont want Botswana to be like many African countries which were crippled by a few leaders when the people could have stood up and said enough is enough…just under 2 years of being in power there is blatant disregard for human life, corruption is at its peak and priorities are terribly misplaced. Enough is enough
