Corey-Weld Slow Streets Project

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

Residents in the Corey-Weld neighborhood are invited to sign this petition in support of traffic calming measures on our streets.

Each year, residents and community organizations are able to apply to have their neighborhood chosen to work with the Boston Transportation Department and Public Works Department to plan and implement a "Neighborhood Slow Streets" project.

If the Corey-Weld neighborhood is chosen the city will look at every street in our neighborhood, in partnership with the community, to identify problems and design effective solutions. When the plan is implemented, streets will have visual and physical cues to slow drivers to 20 mph - making the streets safer for everyone. The Slow Streets program will emphasize quick-install, low-cost fixes, such as signage, pavement markings, speed humps, and daylighting.

Please sign this petition in support of our application for this initiative.
