Joshua Tripp started this petition to Bossa Studios

Worlds Adrift captured lightning in a bottle, a unique blend of open world exploration, crafting, PvPvE gameplay with real time physics all set in a world created by you the player via an external software engine "Worlds Adrift Island Creator". It was a massively multiplayer sandbox video game, set in a massive world, Player's would create their own legendary skyship and battle for sky superiority amongst the shattered floating islands, the remnants of a past cataclysm. Developed and published by Bossa Studios, the game entered early access on PC through Steam in mid-July 2017. Following the conclusion of the "End of the world" in-game event, Worlds Adrift was discontinued on July 26, 2019 by Bossa Studios, who cited the game being no longer commercially viable as the reason for its shutdown.

Worlds Adrift had something magical, A magic that hasn't since been replicated and may never see replicated without a revival. Gamers deserve to experience what was worlds Adrift and the original development team deserve to see this project through.

Bossa Studios lists many reasons on the WorldsAdrift.com page on why it ultimately had to be shut down, from souce code to "Not Capturing the imagination of as many people as we needed to make it commercially viable". I've never need able to wrap my mind around the last statement, everyone whos played Worlds Adrift knows just how immediate it captures your imagination, but why didn't it have the reach? There is no doubt in my mind if Worlds Adrift today we're to be re-released in todays video game and social media climate it could thrive with more attention being given to marketing and player feedback.

I hope with enough signatures Bossa Studios could consider the option of a full revival or reopening a few servers to began rebuilding player interest.

Worst case scenario we can Keep the memory alive just a little while longer.
