Drugs including cocaine are being used openly in the UK Parliament, according to new evidence emerging this week. 

I believe more needs to be done to hold our politicians to account about their drug use. That is why I am calling for mandatory drug testing for all MPs.  

It is very disturbing to know that the very people responsible for taking decisions about our country and its national security can be under the influence of illegal substances and the public would not know. 

There are many workplaces that carry out random drug testing that is a part of their contract. I strongly believe such a high profile job like being a member of parliament should have these rules. At the very least there should be drug dogs patrolling the grounds in and around parliament.
