With many students paying over £9K for an on-campus university experience, this has changed drastically since March 2020. University students are paying for tuition fees, housing fees and fees for material for their courses, for inadequate teaching. As the university has moved online, students have been struggling mentally and physically to continue with their courses. Students have had little to no support from the government. The news has only mentioned schools and collages as their priority, but university students have been left in the dark.

The question we should be asking is: why. Why are university students paying a full tuition fee? Instead, the fees should be reduced, and students can use the money to equip themselves to work from homes such as desks, book, and stationery etc. A change needs to happen! Schools and colleges have been mentioned in the News, for support and direction. University students have rarely been mentioned, unless blamed for no fault of their own, following the instruction by the government. Action must be taken for students to be heard.
