Amid the Coronavirus outbreak, Boris decided that social distancing is now one of the correct actions to take. Not attending pubs (maximum 100 people, depending what pub it is), restaurants (maximum 200 people, depending what pub it is), theatres (maximum 300 people, depending what theatre it is). So why aren’t schools shut? Nearly 1000 people in each school and they are not closed. Some students need to be ready, fit and healthy for exams. I have unfortunately, recently, been in hospital. I had glandular fever a month ago, and my immune system is still not right, if I attract the Coronavirus then I will struggle to fight it off and will become very ill, and it could even be fatal. It’s not just me that could suffer, it’s the teachers too. The teachers health and safety is important, especially the older teachers we have in our schools, imagine the devastation and guilt everyone would have if a young person in primary/secondary school was killed and/or a teacher. Schools need to be shut for a period of time to help contain and stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Please help!
