Dear Mr Johnson;

Easter is upon us; and how the nation is thankful you will let us see our family outdoors in the early ages of spring I feel compelled to ask you to reconsider the date you plan to open pub gardens back up. 

As previously stated you are allowing two households to meet up in parks and private gardens but I must ask you think about people who have no such luxury as a garden or outdoor space. Pubs offer that luxury to many a family who haven't seen one another since before Christmas and even then some longer than that. 

Also pubs are struggling; we can't hide from that fact, and as the numbers go down surely we can be at a position to help our locals more and as an ex publican I know that Easter is a key date for pubs generating maximum income; you already stopped them around the Christmas period, this maybe their chance to get back onto their feet. 

This is a crucial time for pubs so surely you can find a way to let their gardens reopen once again earlier than the 12th April, to open again during the Easter break where families can sit in the sun/cloud/sheltered rain so they can start to rebuild from not only their financial turmoil; but from the turmoil of not being able to see the smiling faces of their locals.
