Scrapping VAT may seem costly but if climate change really kicks in (it will get a lot worse) it will cost us a lot more, and not just monetarily.

The very least that can be done to start with - in all fields we need to subsidise the sustainable and beneficial, whilst taxing heavily the wasteful and damaging (whatever false short-term profit it might appear to make)

I’d buy an electric car if they were a bit cheaper. To encourage uptake if green technologies and reduce our carbon footprint we need to make levers for change like electric cars accessible for more people. If HMG would subsidise green energy as much as the oil industry more people would be move away from petrol & diesel.
