Captain Sir Thomas Moore (30 April 1920 – 2 February 2021), popularly known as "Captain Tom", was a British Army officer and centenarian, known for his achievements for raising over £30 million pounds for the much loved NHS in the run-up to his 100th birthday during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We would like this government to create a 'Saint Tom's Day' celebrated every year on 2nd February (the day he sadly passed away) to acknowledge and honour his incredible achievement...

He touched the nation's hearts, inspired generations and brought hope and positivity to the people of the UK and not just a national inspiration but a beacon of hope for the world.

No human being in the modern world at such a great age has made quite an impact in our lives than Sir Tom..

Saint Tom's day will be a celebration of hope, life, and inspiration that will inspire us all to do something special on the 2nd February each year whether it is raising funds for the NHS and other much needed causes...to street parties and social gatherings..

So please sign the petition and lets get planning for 2nd February 2022.
