It's absolutely crazy that the government are allowing us to go out and travel the country, and now allowing us back into pubs but yet we still can't use a public toilet. Going to the toilet is a natural thing we can't help it. We need the toilets open. And especially for those with medical conditions. In this hot weather we're having, people want to go out and will be drinking more than usual to keep hydrated and therefore will need a toilet! This is one of the reasons why I am put off going out for the day. I don't want my day ruined by the feeling of a heavy bladder.

The human right to sanitation entitles everyone, without discrimination, to: “have physical and affordable access to sanitation, in all spheres of life, that is safe, hygienic, secure, and social and culturally acceptable, and that provides privacy and dignity” (UN, 2015).

As a bowel condition sufferer, there is nothing worse than the thought that I could be possible caught without toilet access when I am out for essential shopping/pharmacy visits. As a result, I have become very anxious about leaving the house for longer than 1 hour and often have to make repeated trips to do tasks as I cannot guarantee toilet access.
I have read forums where sufferers have had no other option than to relieve themselves in alleyways in public which is both unhygienic and can promote the spread of disease and wildly undignifying.

The rules need to change.

I have 2 hidden disabilities. I have been 50% deaf since birth and now have a stoma as a result of both bladder and prostate cancer. At times I need access to a toilet immediately.
