Its immoral & the trews report upset my emotions and made me feel frustrated at my own situation. I also live on a council estate and have to pay my landlord over £1000 pcm for a studio flat with no washing machine & a 1970s water boiler. Due to the council permitting the original resident to purchase the property & then use it as income. Digusting & should be illegal.

My reason for signing this petition is due to the simple fact of every human being / person should have the right to a safe & comfortable home for themselves or their family without having to worry about the the profit which is going into the landlord's / housing association's pockets.

Big corrupt business after money and not people. Dreadful. Keep these people in their homes and offer a better deal.

There are more than enough luxury flats and what you call "affordable" housing built and currently in construction in London that it's time to stop destroying people's homes and communities who can't afford what you would build on top of their estates' rubble. Leave the tenants of West Hendon Estate alone and give them a chance to continue living their life without having to be relocated somewhere far from London and their family - probably somewhere up North.

This comes down to a widespread issue. I am horrified people are losing their or potential homes so companies can build more expensive properties in there place for the sake of profits more than often too expensive for the locals. What is even worse is people then buying them to let making them more expensive to rent and pushing up demand for property for sale or rent making them even more expensive to buy. Not mentioning foreign investors using property like gold reserves keeping properties empty because tenants are "too much of a hassle".

I feel there needs to be more effort to help people stay in the communities they are born in and have support structures in, in good quality affordable homes.

This happens all over the country. The houses are of poor quality compared to the houses from pre 1970
