Asma Bibi has lived through more hell already than most of us 3 or 4 times older than her. I pray for her to keep the faith and that God will reward her greatly for enduring it all.

Removal of our national and historic statues and monuments in an attempt to erase our Great British history.

Please stop removing our nation’s historic monuments and statues from historic public buildings. This is an attempt to rewrite our British history and is both deeply damaging and wrong. It is being a traitor to our nation and its past to take away and try to rewrite historic fact.

You can learn from history, but you cannot, and must not, erase it. It is like trying to deny the Holocaust. This is wrong.

“Let him who is without sin remove the first statue”.

To deny what happened in history is an insult to people who lived through those times. Slavery was abolished because people in our country had the courage to stand up and speak out against it. Stop removing our British history, please!

In Ashbourne, a carved black mans head of a grade II listed pub sign had to be removed due to threats of violence and arson by those claiming It was racist and ‘insulting’ - until the events in the USA earlier this year, few people knew it was even there, and those that did, knew the history behind it was a positive one of tolerance. The use of threats, intimidation, violence and law breaking by those who believe our history should be dismantled just proves they have no real interest in a fair and peaceful society - tolerance works both ways!
