The bus industry has taken a huge hit due to Coronavirus. Government help is there till 31st October but there is nothing after this. Many companies have seen a huge fall in passengers and in revenue which in turn will lead to job losses and a loss of services to people that need it most. I want the government to continue funding the bus industry with grants and subsidies until a time that companies see a return to normal trading so that we can save jobs and services. Buses are a lifeline to a lot of people especially the elderly, workers and schoolchildren.  Without those services there wouldn’t be transport for them to go to hospital, shopping, visit family, go to work or school.  People who cannot drive have no other alternative and depend on these services for everyday things.
