Nursery workers treated fairly under Covid

Nursery workers treated fairly under Covid
Why this petition matters
Under the new Covid-19 rules, thousands of people are seeing strict change. Schools and businesses are demanded to close to help manage and protect the public. Thousands of people are to stay at home as much as possible and only travel when extremely necessary.
On Monday 4th January at 8.00pm Boris Johnson announced to the nation that primary and secondary schools were to close for all except children of key workers. Thousands agreed to this new ruling, but not all were happy. Nurseries and private day-care were not mentioned to be closing or any drastic change to the protection of workers, children and parents.
The closure, or partial closure, of nurseries would help to keep hundreds and thousands of more children and vulnerable adults safe from Covid-19 and any new variants until the vaccine/s are out to the general public or the curve is reduced enough.
Reducing the numbers to just children of key workers would allow the stress of nurseries and workers to be limited to focus more on keeping everyone looked after and safe during these new trying times.
This petition calls upon the government to add a new ruling that helps to protect nursery workers and have rules in place to treat all education workers fairly, no matter the size of the business.
