By blindly putting his own career before the national interest he has caused a third of the government to resign.

Boris Johnson has destroyed the reputation of the UK, built up over centuries, through his breaking of international law and duplicity.

At home he has undermined public confidence in politics by  repeated lies and partying whilst the public sacrificed everything.

He did not "get the big calls right". Delayed lockdowns, repeated u turns and failures to fund social care.

Even in his resignation speech there is not a word of humility, self-awareness or apology for what he has put the UK through. Still everything is someoneelse's fault.

We must show that this toxic legacy cannot be rewarded in any way
