I believe that muslims should be legally allowed to have the day off when celebrating Eid. So that they can celebrate properly.

Why? Because christians get Christmas off school and work (if they're lucky!) so why is it that muslims cannot have Eid off as many don't celebrate Christmas therefore Eid is kind of like their Christmas celebration (correct me if it is wrong to compare Eid to Christmas.)

So if you could help me get enough signatures to get the day off for muslims when it is Eid and then hopefully it  can go to Boris Johnson and muslims across the Uk hopefully can be allowed to celebrate properly.  All i want is for muslims to have even just one day off if Eid is during school so that muslims can celebrate properly without getting fined by the school for not bringing in their child/children!
