We all need the Nhs, for work, for care, for diagnosis and treatment. It needs to be brought back to the great institution it once was

The NHS must be protected from American drug companies. Illness should not mean bankruptcy.

I am sitting in Whipps Cross A&E with my mother who is undergoing cancer treatment at UCH and who has been hospitalised due to sepsis. The ambulance staff were phenomenal, from call-out to arrival here, rushing my mum straight into Resus. The department is full to bursting and the staff are doing their very best against very difficult odds (a tannoy announcement apologised for the probable 6 hour wait). I love the NHS, they are keeping my mum alive and the staff are remarkable. Stop the privatisation and sell-off of our miracle NHS.

I’m signing because we need to maintain the NHS for the sake of patients and staff. It is a great service that needs to be preserved and improved.
