I have published academic research on Venezuela’s migrant crisis and it’s imperative these funds are used to combat the effects of Covid in a country already in the midst of a dire economic crisis. Maduro was democratically elected and the UK must recognise this. If the funds are administered by the UN, they must be released regardless of who the UK recognised as president
