Make racial equality and education compulsory PSHE in UK schools
Why this petition matters

PSHE in UK schools has been failing to teach pupils about racial equality, history and rights correctly for many years; the quality and quantity varies from area to area.
It is paramount that the stems of racism are exposed to students and that the problems of racism in society are uncovered so they cease. Civil rights movements need to be discussed and all children need to be educated on how we can solve racial inequality together. This education should not be exclusive to history students.
At least one day every half-term should be dedicated to the history of racial inequality and civil rights movements. This would mean at least 6 days in the academic calendar would be dedicated to promoting racial equality at a young age and the diminish of racial stereotypes and stigma. No one should feel uncomfortable in their own skin.
