On December 31, the government announced that all university classes are going to be online until January 25 the least apart from Health and Life Sciences courses.

Although all university students have been lied to by the government promising us blended teaching at the start of the term, and we all pay for accommodation we do not live in, students in practical courses are expected to do a degree that does not include what their degree is meant to be.

Until December 31, the government had excluded art, design, and performing arts courses from those that were meant to be fully online. However, these students pay 9,250 pounds per year (since fees are not being reduced) for a degree they are not getting at all.

There is no online way these kind of degrees can happen. It is ridiculous to pay for education we are not getting.

What we are asking is for either the government to reconsider which courses are necessary to be face to face, or for universities to reduce their fees since no online teaching is worth that much. Especially for international students who pay more than 20,000 per year for an online degree.
