Why is Femail Genital Mutilation (FGM) a crime in the UK (indeed the world!) and not Male Genital Mutilation (MGM)? 

Why is the consent of a female child required and not a male?

It's time we stopped this barbaric act now.

If you wish to be circumcised when you are an adult or even request it as a child with parental consent, I have no problem with that. But non-consensual mutilation should be a crime and we must stop doing this to our children. It is assault and abuse, plain and simple.

Please help me change the law.
