This petition has been created for Brides, Grooms, Family, Wedding guest (or suppliers) who have had to move their weddings not once but two or three time’s because of COVID-19.

Weddings that were supposed to have taken place in 2020 and couldn’t because of the pandemic and were postponed until 2021.

Now these Weddings that have been postponed until 2021 are now in jeopardy because of the reduced numbers of just 15 people.

This is causing distressed and financial loss for many couples who are unable to claim on their insurance and have had to lose deposits of many thousands of pounds.

Can we looks at different ways of allowing more people to attend weddings - ask guest to do Covid tests prior to the weddings and temperature checks to allow these weddings to go ahead.

A lot of people are unable to postpone their wedding because weddings are able to go ahead now and have paid thousands for a large wedding venue and 15 people would not be feasible for this type of wedding to go ahead. The venue still need to make money otherwise they will not be around in 2021!

Somethings needs to change - please revaluate the weddings industry through Covid!
