In the light of the shocking events taking place in Ukraine and with the anticipation of even more brutal assault on the part of the invading Russian army, please, impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine. 

The whole world is watching fight unfold in the heart of Europe. Ukraine  is heroically fighting back, demonstrating unbelievable courage, discipline and resolve. However,  each day, Ukrainians face new challenges and wake up to more ruthless and aggressive Russia.

Last night, president Zelensky asked for no-fly zone to be introduced in the skies of Ukraine. To the West,  it might sound like a desperate and unreasonable plea, but there are competent voices in our society that have been calling for the move.  Tobias Ellwood, a conservative mp, former soldier and chair of the Defence Select Committee, is one of them. He has  been a vocal supporter of a no-fly zone for some time now. As fighting continues and becomes more harrowing, there is no doubt that more politicians and militaries will join in. 

Despite all political and economic consequences of the sanctions against Russia, it is still conducting its so called ‘special military operation’ with complete impunity.

Give Ukraine chance to survive ruthless Russian military machine, secure the skies above the millions of people who are trapped in this nightmare and hope for a miracle.
