Hi I'm a looked after child who has been through a significant amount of trauma and neglect within the care system and witnessed many other looked after children got through some of the same hurrendous disgusting circumstances

Most of the time there is a high amount of children coming into care of the local authority and shaping them much worse with significant mental health issues.

It is very disheartening that so many children are saying these things but never get listened to then they really struggle battling on there own. 

From my understanding children do not come into care to be ; any less than another child , treated in some horrific ways , disrespected of any kind , less value , more unfortunate or different than any one ! We should all be as equal and as valued as everyone else.

We are the children of your generation and we need to have  a healthy upbringing in care aswell and help us be the people of tomorrow ! 

I myself have been in the system for 4 years now and had 29 different homes , let down , abuse , neglect , poor care and more ..... 

Please help us not to be suffering in silence
