This year has saw energy companies hitting the citizens of the UK really hard financially with the steep increase in energy prices. Some people are seeing hikes of more than 100%, which is sure to plunge tens or hundreds of thousands of people into poverty. With another price hike rumoured for later in the year it's time that we took a stand against this. We're calling on the UK Government to pressurise energy companies to reverse these insane hikes and regulate any future increases. Having warmth, electricity and hot water is a basic human right.
