All the history I was taught at school in the 1970s was completely impossible to connect with - Arable farming in the 14 Th century for example! Our recent history of the last 100 years MUST be focused on especially explain colonialism - and it’s effects on the countries that were ravaged

I'm signing because my students need to feel like their culture and history matters. I'm signing because the British Literary Heritage includes Black writers, not just dead, white men.
