I want to start this petition for Women’s partners being allowed into a midwife appointment & dating scans etc.. 

it is infuriating that women are getting no say in the matter. I can go out to socialise in a pub with random people, yet my partner who I sleep next to EVERY NIGHT can’t be with me in a sanitized clean area. 

Why does no one care that first time mums are having to go through full pregnancies pretty much alone even when there are complications or something could go wrong. Where is the support? Where is the outcry and protest to help them right now? Why can women only have one birth partner and sometimes not even that until they’re in full active labour and ready to push? Where are the announcements from Boris telling us how they’ll improve maternity and antenatal care? I’ve not heard one. People need to open their eyes and realise how scary and awful this has been for new parents and babies. (Copied)

Women are losing babies, being given bad news. Being told things no women never wants to hear. Hearing in a waiting room women screaming for someone they want because they’ve just lost there baby or hearing bad news before she’s told her partner or family. It’s petrifying, something needs to  be done.
