Establish an immediate humanitarian corridor for families trapped by the war in Ukraine.
Why this petition matters

Woman and children.. families like yours, are trapped by the conflict that surrounds them, in towns and cities across Ukraine. Under the constant and increasing threat of death, injury and starvation, families who are unable to flee are being killed right now, today in Europe.
The people of Eastern Ukraine have already endured eight years of conflict. But as the intensification of the conflict spread, a scale of death and destruction too frightening to contemplate, given the immense military capacities involved, is now a reality.
I petition all parties for the immediate establishment of a humanitarian corridor out of the theatre of conflict in Ukraine. This will allow safe passage for families and civilians of ALL nations to leave the country and remove themselves from the immediate threat to life.
International humanitarian law is clear… that ‘all parties to the conflict have a legal obligation to ensure that military operations are planned and conducted in a way as to ensure the protection of civilians’
Isn’t Humanitarian law by definition more than a legal obligation?
Please act now, sign the petition and help establish safe passage for those caught up in the fighting.
