Alison King started this petition to Boris Johnson (Prime Minister) and

Since finding out at 12 years old I was allergic to peanuts after a scary life threatening reaction, i now require an Epipen. An epipen for the people who aren’t aware, is an auto injection that contains adrenaline for reactions caused by anaphylaxis.

Featured snippet from the web
PEANUT ALLERGY IS THE SECOND MOST COMMON FOOD ALLERGY IN CHILDREN AND IS ON THE INCREASE. IT OCCURS IN ABOUT 1 IN 50 CHILDREN AND 1 IN 200 ADULTS. PEANUT IS THE MOST LIKELY FOOD TO CAUSE ANAPHYLAXIS AND DEATH. IT HAS BEEN ESTIMATED THAT THERE IS ONE DEATH FOR EVERY 200 EPISODES OF ANAPHYLAXIS.

In my case it is peanuts i’m allergic too, and if i have a reaction without an Epipen I would potentially die without the correct treatment in a short time.

An Epipen is a life saving medicine, yet we have to pay for it on the NHS. Insulin is another life saving medicine for diabetes yet is free on prescription.

I am asking for your help and support to get this heard far and wide..
