Emma Burr started this petition to Boris Johnson (Prime Minister)

During this Pandemic families have lost loved ones not due to Corona but due to the lack of Mental Health Support and Advice made available by the UK Government.
At great expense we hosted the G7 Summit yet during lockdown no extra support was made available for those with poor Mental Health made critical by the need for lockdown itself and the extreme difficulty in contacting those services that were available. Only the charity Mind had any advice on how to support those struggling with the effects of isolation. For some it was too much. My own son committed suicide after the second lockdown was announced.

I would like to see the Government and particularly Boris Johnson made to answer why this support was not available. As our PM he is entrusted to do his best to protect the population and he has failed drastically in this regard. I want to know why they went un-noticed and disregarded. I would ask you to join me in asking for an enquiry as to why our PM did not ensure that this part of the populace where not protected nor considered. This won’t bring them back. But it would highlight this issue and I hope, bring about changes so that they are better cared for. Please help by signing and sharing.
