This petition is to gain support to reverse the decision to award Gavin Williamson (ex-education secretary)  a Knighthood immediately. 

After "being sacked twice, once in Theresa May's government and one in Boris Johnson's" (source: Sky News, Alix Culbertson, 3rd March 22) should the Government and ultimately The Queen, be awarding those who helped the UK during the pandemic, those who went above and beyond rather than those who have hindered its educational progression and previously been blamed and sacked for national security leaks? (see source below)

Mr Williamson has been accused of being responsible for the cancellation of GCSE and A level exams during the pandemic, closures of UK schools (source: see above - Alix Culbertson - Sky News) and "had previously been sacked as defence secretary by Theresa May after being blamed for leaks of top secret information on China from national security briefings" (source: David Wilcock - Mail Online - 4th Mar 22).

Therefore why is the UK rewarding this?
