Coronavirus Bonus’s for NHS Staff

Coronavirus Bonus’s for NHS Staff
Why this petition matters
In light of the entry of Coronavirus in the UK, staff and individuals working under the health sector have had to work relentlessly hard to ensure that the public were attended to in this ambiguous situation.
Lack of resources, funding and limited hospital machinery have led to several delays in hospitals and health workers working over capacity.
In addition, the momentum at which the virus has taken pace has left the public stressed, shocked and taken back - as the impact and numbers on cases confirmed and death rates have risen beyond what was expected.
It is undeniably a time of panic for the general public in the UK, but among the quarantined we forget the selfless and often involuntary service of health workers whom have no choice but to interact, be in contact and work in environments where they are exposed to working with patients with the virus.
This petition looks to raise awareness for NHS staff & health workers in this period of time, and proposes that all health workers are given considerable bonuses as recognition and award for their selfless service towards the UK public in this uncertain time.
I propose a 20% additional monthly bonus to be added onto the salaries off all health workers sanctioned by the government. (This number can be debated)
This should be handed out for the months where the number of cases of coronavirus have peaked and therefore caused an increase in the level of service’s required and delivered by health workers.
Please sign this petition if you agree that health workers deserve recognition and some form of incentive to boost their morale & award them some public gratitude.
