Throughout the COVID pandemic Government has taken advice from only certain people predominately SAGE and have ignored contradicting scientific evidence put forward by others. The advice given has meant that Covid lockdown measures have been implemented by Government that have resulted in adverse effects to the people of the United Kingdom resulting in a scenario that is effectively doing far more harm than good. If a solution to a problem causes greater harm than the initial problem then obviously that has to be the wrong solution, yet the government refuses to aknowledge that. 

We the undersigned call for an immediate independent public inquiry into the advice that has lead to the wrong government decisions being made and implemented and if malfeasance has taken place then appropriate action by the government should be taken to make those responsible accountable for their actions. If however, the inquiry finds that the action taken has been appropriate it will help pacify those who have been detrimentally affected by those decisions.

Three times I tried to start this petition with GovPetitions and three times it has been rejected with nonsense reasons being given.
