We want to ban the use and sale of chewing gum in the UK, because it has a negative impact on the environment. Chewing gum contains xylitol, which is toxic to animals including our beloved pets and can cause some serious harm.

This product has no nutritional value yet thousands of people chew and discard anywhere and everywhere. In the current pandemic it is a hazard as it encourages the spread of germs. 

In Singapore, they have already banned the sale and use of chewing gum as I hope the UK will. Singapore is also the cleanest city in the world and I hope Britain will break that record.
