There was a strict lockdown to save lives, everyone made sacrifices.
The nation was in lockdown to save lives! The rules of the lockdown were strict. Every person in the country made sacrifices. From Doctors, Nurses and other NHS staff battling to save lives and some paying with their own, to those living alone, isolated and frightened. From relatives not being able to say a final goodbye to loved ones they lost to new mother’s giving birth without a loved one to support them. Keyworkers toiled to get essential medicines and food to the disabled, sick and isolated. Teachers struggled to educate their students. Children couldn’t see their friends, many couldn’t understand why.

One 7 year old was clear she couldn’t have a birthday party

The sacrifices and the losses were greater for some than for others and they remain so. Josephine, age 7 years, was moved to write to Boris Johnson clear about the reason she wouldn’t be having her birthday party. He wrote back confirming Josephine’s decision was right. Only weeks later, under the same lockdown rules, Boris Johnson went ahead and attended his own illegal birthday party, Rishi Sunak was there too. 

Boris Johnson didn’t understand the rules

Boris Johnson has said that no rules were broken. Even after he, and Rishi Sunak, have been fined he continues to say he wasn’t aware of breaking the rules by attending his own birthday party. 
We must now all ask ourselves what it is about our Prime Minister that means he continuously fails to understand the rules that 7 year old Josephine could understand. Is he Not as bright as a 7 year old or a compulsive liar seeking to continue misleading the public and this country?
Either way he is unfit to be Prime Minister and a Chancellor who offends and lies is also unfit to do his job. 
Please sign my petition for a change from criminals and persistent lying at the top of government. The sacrifices we all made for our country should not  go to waste. Our country deserves decent leaders.
