Beauty Salons are being forced to close under Tier 3 restrictions in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Our industry is safe. We work in a clean, COVID-19 safe environment. Beauticians wear full PPE, our clients wear masks. We have implemented every requirement that has been asked of us and more. 
There is a higher risk of infection to someone in the supermarket or eating in a restaurant, where numerous people have touched the cutlery, or in a gym where someone is huffing and puffing and their bodily fluids are being splashed around. 

Small businesses are on their knees, our mental health is being affected. With a short time until Christmas and the majority of salon owners being women entrepreneurs, we will financially suffer. 

We are Covid safe, we are secure and we should remain open.
