Dear reader,

My name is Fatima, a mother from London. I would like your support to raise the Prime Minister and the Chancellor's awareness of how difficult it is for people on benefit to buy essential goods in this uncertain times. People like me who depend on government's payments have to wait longer to stock in case of a lock down due to Corona-virus, and often cannot buy everything in one go.

I would like to ask the Prime Minister and the Chancellor to consider giving people on benefit ADVANCED PAYMENT so that we are not left behind or short of supplies if the country has to shut down which can happen at any time. This will also help to boost the economy as people have more disposable income.

I have 2 kids and I believe a lot of people can relate to the worry of being able to care for your child. I want to get people to avoid numerous trips to the shops to decrease risk of contamination ( as advised by the government). Elders having to wait for their pensions to be paid, and usually unable to find supplies as shops are pilled up with younger people who can run to the shelves and get what they want quicker.
