The poorest in our Society who rely on benefits to survive, lose 14% of their housing allowance if their rented property has an extra bedroom. For example, I'm a 62 year old with disabilities and rent a tiny two bedroomed social housing bungalow. I pay £48 per month I cannot afford out of my Universal credit as a penalty.  There is already a cap on the amount of housing allowance for each area in the UK, so to penalise us further causes much poverty and high rent arrears. Since the bedroom tax was introduced. Rent arrears have escalated, as have evictions. Please help me to eradicate this unjust tax.
