Seniors at Boonton High School want to paint their parking spaces. It makes them more personal and it would be a fun senior privilege. Students could pay a small fee in addition to buying their own paint. There could be time slotted each day for a week over the summer for the students to come and paint the parking spots. At the end of the year, students must come to cover their spots over with black paint. Their graduation is held off until their spot is painted over to ensure all the spots get painted black. There are many schools that have this tradition, and even many in the area, such as Parsippany High School. It gives students a chance to express themselves freely. To ensure appropriate designs, students can submit their designs prior to painting the spots.
