Parents of BC children enrolled in sports and indoor classes have been banned from attending these event with no good reason. Although proof of vaccination is required to watch your children play sports or participate in classes indoors, there have been many cases of Covid still spreading through full teams and classes of vaccinated parents and kids.

In light of recent and past events, I believe the dangers of leaving a child alone or with someone other than a parent/guardian is not only dangerous, but reckless. Bullying, hazing, and sexual harassment occur way too often in these environments, and seem to come up in the news more often than not. A child needs a parent/guardian in attendance to make sure they are taken care of properly and are kept safe. 

Sports and indoor/outdoor youth classes are vital to a child's development. Not permitting parents to partake in cheering their children on, dressing them for their activity attire, or supporting and encouraging their children will not only hinder parent/child relationship, but also affect mental and social development. Please join me in signing this petition to allows all parents to be able to watch and take care of their children without having healthy privacy and freedom of right and choice violated by Canadian government and organizations.
