I am a part of a small group of singers who sing to raise money for various cancer charity's such as cancer research, children with cancer uk also once a year we also raise a fair amount for children in need. we are volunteers and do this of our own free will and for zero gain. we always take our own equipment to charity gigs a speaker a mic and  singers (amateur) and music.

we have been collecting for various charity's in bolton for over 10 years so we are not new to them yet recently they have decided without giving us any notice. That we can no longer do this and told us we had to leave as this was now classed under anti social behaviour now that alone isn't  all as apparently they have decided 1 rule does not fit all as apparently it's ok for relgious groups to do this but not us.

some people mistakenly think we didn't apply for the right type of permit we did, also our group never asks for donations we happily stand there and just let people do so there are buckets so we rarely if ever take money from your hand.

we try not to bother anyone so i'm asking for you to sign this petiton to show Bolton council what they did was wrong.
