I have recently seen so many posts about “petrified pets” on Facebook; one of which, was fatal. This is because of the use of fireworks before and after bonfire night. Fireworks should be set off once (maybe twice a year, if you include NYE) NOT 2 weeks either side of each event. I have seen so many animals in despair because of fireworks in our local area - one of which was fatal. This is purely due to domesticated animals in fear of the noise. It does not need to happen and families should not have to experience this torment with their beloved “furry friends”. Let’s make a stop to this. 10,000 signature means it just be discussed in parliament! Let’s stop fireworks being sold to those NOT holding controlled firework displays! This is affecting those who have animals and those who work closely with animals as a business. It’s getting beyond a joke!
