THE FUTURE OF INDIAN CINEMA
THE FUTURE OF INDIAN CINEMA
Hello guys …I am someone who was deeply shocked by the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and felt extremely pained even though I had never even watched any of his movies(I didn’t watch a lot of B’wood movies of late).
Many might feel that this is nothing but a rant and a hate article towards the B wood stars but please read it once before you guys reach a conclusion.
Over the course of last few weeks, I have been following the case closely and believe that there needs to be a thorough investigation done on all accounts.
Remember when Irffan khan ,Rishi Kapoor , Sridevi ,Divya Bharti , Rajesh Khanna ( and other superstars) died the entire nation mourned for them…we literally wept …When Big B got injured (during coolie movie) the entire nation prayed for his wellbeing . when any person in the film industry leaves us , we come together as one and shower our love , blessings and extend our support to their families . We , as fans of the Bollywood superstars have always felt uncomfortable and saddened whenever we lose one of our beloved demigods. But when Sushant died I felt as if I lost a close family member , I see that the majority of us feel the same. Many Bollywood superstars posted tweets mourning his death…BUT
Now when some ugly facts are rising in this case and the entire nation demands justice for Sushant , his family members and his loving fans ,I am shocked as to why none of the so called superstars have not a single word to say on this issue. The way Arnab Goswami is pushing the investigation and is demanding justice , I am deeply surprised why none of the Bollywood bigs have come out and demanded a fair trial …why??? The same Bollywood stars whom we loved unconditionally..they have lost a colleague yet they remain silent ….why ….They surely knew Sushant a lot better than most of us ….still we are the ones making all the noise… Their silence is deafening ….Why are they not using their influence to bring justice to Sushant. When so many of these bigwigs stood for the Black lives matter movement it made me happy …that they cared…..But why are they mum when someone their own has died. Does’nt Amir khan feel scared now with what is happening in the film industry .For a person to make a show ‘Satyameva Jayate’ Im surprised he has been so quiet on this issue.
Dear “Bollywood Celebrities” You all have lost all the respect I had for you guys ( I really understand now why u guys are mere actors)…you guys are only good at acting ( Can’t even say that for everyone ) and deceiving the people of the country. Where are your placards ?? Where are your tweets ?? Where is the connect that you maintain with your fans ?? Why so many of us were following you when you yourselves don’t know how to and don’t want to lead. Is it only money that matters ??? Do you think we all our stupid…you guys believe that the Indian public is gullible…No …we are an emotional lot who know how to forget and forgive……
Not anymore…I’m sure just like me a million others would rise and question your sincerity and your apparent hunger for truth and justice. I, for one would make sure that whenever a movie of yours is about to be released , I’ll share this post as much as I can with as many people as I can and on any platform that I can. I do not care if I get derided for this ..i don’t care if people associate me with a lobby ..I don’t care if people think I’m a paid stooge to target these bigwigs.
I will do this in memory of Sushant Singh Rajput and as a mark of respect to the citizens of the country who have felt the anguish of losing a genuine star, for the few genuine filmmakers who have spoken for justice. I will do this for just for the simple fact that WE DO NOT LOSE ANOTHER SUSHANT .
I’ve heard “A single person can make a difference” .Imagine if we all collectively take responsibility we can bring about a positive change where we celebrate the real life heroes and not these fake ones. For any nation to grow and move forward we need to really know who are the people we look upto.
