The Arnold Sports Festival Expo should stay on for this weekend! Cancelling it because of health concerns for a virus that isn’t even considered a pandemic (more like the common cold) would be detrimental for bodybuilding fans from all over the world. Competitors are not the only ones who have put hundreds and thousands of dollars into coming to this world renowned event.

*READ THE FACTS ON THE CORONAVIRUS*

*80% of coronavirus cases are mild* We're talking symptoms as basic as a common cold here

*mortality rate is around 2%* Let's compare that to Ebola (easily over 50%) and everybody take a deep breath: For people age 39 and under, the mortality rate is actually 0.2%!

*People most as risk for complications are the elderly/immunocompromised* Fatality rate increases gradually with age. Again, kinda like the flu

*We are likely going to see more cases and spread to other countries.* Sorry, but it's true. That doesn't mean you need to barricade yourself yourself inside your home

*It's easy it protect yourself.* Wash your hands. That's really all you can do to prevent coronavirus, and it's plenty effective.

It’s understandable the Ohioans want to keep the state safe from the virus, but there are going to be screenings there. Why not screen the spectators, fans, vendors, and everyone else as well, and not just the competitors. Like I said, fans from all over the world have spent hundreds and thousands of dollars that, in some cases, are non refundable.

This is a very irrational decision to cancel such a world renowned event 2 days before it’s supposed to start. This is a very inconsiderate and inconvenient decision along with irrational.
