The pond has been an essential feature of the hospital for many years, and its destruction would be detrimental to our community and the animals who live there. The pond is home to many animals including ducks, birds, fish, turtles, and iguanas. It is a serene and calming sanctuary for patients, their families, and the employees of the hospital. I, along with many others, are deeply concerned about losing this precious piece of nature. It will adversely impact the environment, displace the animals, and will remove a major healing part of the hospital.
