Sign Colin Kaepernick to the Houston Texans

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

Deshaun Watson has been the best thing to ever happen to the Houston Texans. I applaud the organization for making a bold move in the draft, trading up, and getting their guy.

However, injuries happen - we may know that better than any other team in the NFL lately - and it is important to keep the momentum that has been building in Houston.

The offense has done a complete 180 with Watson at the helm. Literally, the entire gameplan has changed to fit Watson's mobile-game. So why should we prevent the offensive line, receivers, running backs, and tight ends from continuing their development within this mobile-centric scheme? Because that is exactly what playing Tom Savage or Matt McGloin will do

Furthermore, the Texans don't have any incentive to tank since they traded all of their valuable draft picks in the trade for Watson and getting rid of Brock Osweiler.

There is also the concern that our star wide receivers will miss this year's opportunities to continue and develop their games, given that we, in the status quo, will be playing lackluster QB talent.

Finally, Bob McNair has recently been on the receiving end of a significant amount of public scrutiny due to a questionable remark he made at an owners meeting. This presents a wonderful opportunity for McNair to redeem himself and earn his player's respect back.

This is a critical moment for the Houston Texans and signing Kaepernick is the best thing to do for the team, our morale, and the NFL.
