We, the undersigned, urgently request the Board of Trustees and Dr. Conrad Swartzentruber immediately reinstate the policy of optional mask wearing for all students, employees and visitors for the 2021-2022 school year.

As communicated originally on August 13, 2021 by Dr. Conrad Swartzentruber, we affirm the wearing of masks should be a family choice for both indoors and outdoors. We recognize that it is the parents' duty to raise their children in accordance with God's commands, and that each family must prayerfully consider their convictions in how they are called to follow God. We affirm respecting the different decisions that individuals will make so that we may continue in the spirit of Christian unity.
