In this modern era, where new discoveries and developments are constantly being made in various parts of the world and there is being a continuous edition as new knowledge keeps coming to hand, the course of education in Pakistan in different faculties has still remained the same for several years.
Not a topic from the textbook changes for decades. Forget this improvement, even corrections are not made for errors present in the book. The course studied by our parents and elders is the same course we study today, although there is a wide gap of time in between. No doubt, the knowledge from past forms the basis for a subject but the importance of having recently discovered knowledge about it, is also undeniable.
Very less modification in the teaching pattern is seen but great modifications in the fee bill amounts at various institutions are noticeable. Keeping that and several other problems with the education system aside, since the main appeal is to not let the same course be provided to students for years after years. Majority of the students still go for Matric and Inter boards education over O'levels and A'levels, so the standard should be improved so that the majority should count in those having valued qualification.
The course should be updated so that education acquirers do not feel old in a sense of having outdated knowledge nor do they feel new to modern knowledge found in today's world.
